Our new "Food by Nature" Certified Organic Premium Spirulina is cultivated in a scientifically controlled cultivation farm and production plant located in the remote southern part of India.  The farm and plant has stringent controls and far away land from human settlement and agricultural and industrial activities.  The farm uses only high quality water and nutrients that are certified organic as well.

Our new certified organic premium Spirulina has been Certified Organic by ECOCERT - a control and certification organization based in France.  Certification includes assessment, criteria and compliance in control standards for Organic farming.  This respectable organization is governed by public authorities and Legislation.



Our new certified organic premium Spirulina has been Certified Organic by the Institute for Market-Ecology (IMO), Switzerland as per USDA’s National Organic Program.

Having the USDA certification means that the production and processing for our Spirulina are in compliance with the control procedures outlined in the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) AMS 7 CFR part 205, National Organic Program.  The IMO (Institute of Market-Ecology), based in Switzerland is our certification agency for USDA - NOP standards.

BRIEF HISTORICAL BACKGROUND:


Some 3.5 billion years ago, blue-green alga is already the foundation of life on earth, which formed the base of our food chain, as phytoplankton.

As the “Earth’s First Food”, it is the direct result of photosynthesis, the process by which green plants utilize sunlight and transform carbon dioxide and water into oxygen, food and energy.

AFA (Aphanizomenon Flos-Aquae) is cultivated in the wild and grows naturally in shallow equatorial lakes such as in the Rift Valley in East Africa and in Mexico. It is normally found in volcanic areas as it thrives on high soda conditions.

Spirulina, on the other hand, is a spiral shaped microscopic blue-green vegetable alga that consists over 70 synergistic nutrients. Spirulina is the preferred species as it is cultivated in a controlled environment without toxic chemicals as an environmentally safe whole food supplement.

As a vegetable plankton, Spirulina generates more oxygen than any other plant, and has been nature's own secret formula for rejuvenation since the dawn of time.

Spirulina has long been a staple food for Mexicans going back to Aztec civilization. Spirulina is also an important food for people in Eastern and Central Africa.

Today, commercial algae farms cultivate Spirulina for millions of people in over 70 countries.




WHAT IS HYDROGEN AND PH LEVEL?  CAN SPIRULINA HELP?

Hydrogen is the smallest Critical Element and is capable of passing through the cell wall.

In order for our cells to function they must communicate with each other through electrons but electrons can not move in the body without hydrogen. 

Cells must have oxygen but oxygen does not work without hydrogen. Cells cannot multiply or grow without hydrogen.

The very fabric of our being, our DNA, is held together by Hydrogen bonds. When we are born we have plenty of Hydrogen. 

As we age or become unwell, our Hydrogen pool becomes depleted. In essence, hydrogen is literally... the fuel of life.

Most people consume diets that are far too acidic consisting of mainly refined foods and meats etc.  Soft drinks and most processed fruit drinks are especially acidic. These acidic foods, when routinely ingested will create a pH imbalance in the human body. 

To enjoy good health, it is critical for human body to be pH balance.  In fact, the pH of your blood must be kept as a precise level (around 7.2 on the pH scale). 

Our modern diets is making our pH level way off the desired reading.  Continuous eating of pro-acidic food and beverages triggers imbalance in the pH of our body.  Our bodies will in turn respond by countering the acidity with behavioral and biochemical strategies that eliminate these excess acids. 

Example:

One such strategy for countering excess dietary acids is to increase respiration, since carbon dioxide is acidic and oxygen is alkaline.  By breathing in more oxygen and exhaling more carbon dioxide, the body works to regulate its own pH.  

This is exactly why diabetics with high blood sugar are frequently seen to be hyperventilating as their blood is too acidic and their bodies are simply trying to get back to the proper pH balance.

Recovery Symptoms:

If you notice some unpleasant body reactions after consuming Spirulina, please stay calm as these are usually recovery symptoms due to some illnesses found in the body.  

Possible side effects include headache, muscle pain, flushing and sweating.  Temporary discomforts (if any) should disappear within a week or two.  

Though rare, there are people who may be allergic to spirulina. 

If the temporary discomforts did not go away and you suspect that you have allergies to spirulina, do avoid all products containing spirulina.
